Toilet overflow with sewage backup

A toilet overflow from sewage backup can create quite the mess, and our before image is just too graphic to show with the lid up! Our team from SERVPRO of Port Charlotte responded quickly to this job site to assist the homeowner who called in a distressed state after seeing their bathroom covered in sewage. We quickly started the cleanup process and removed the sewage backup from the bathroom area. The toilet as you can see in the first image was severely affected from the backup, so we made sure we could save it instead of having to replace it. The after photo shows the cleaned and restored toilet bowl, which we were able to save for the homeowner, saving them replacement and installation costs. Needless to say, the homeowner was very happy to have their bathroom restored to like it was before!
